Envirothon- Congratulations to the Lyndonville Envirothon Team, advised by Miss Kathleen Wronski, for winning first place in their competition on May 1. Maddie Baker, Jocelyn Mack, James Giarla and Molly Ingersoll did a great job earning the top scores for their video, Soils test and Current issues test. Overall, the team won first place for both Niagara and Orleans counties! The team will travel to SUNY Cortland for the NYS Championship competition May 22nd and 23rd.

Skills USA Winners- Two Lyndonville high school students achieved gold medals in the Skills USA State competition held in Syracuse on April 24-26. They are eligible to compete in the national competition in Atlanta, Georgia in June. Skills USA is a United States career and technical student organization serving more than 395,000 high school, college and middle school students and professional members enrolled in career and technical education programs. Madison Davis took first place in Health Occupations Professional Portfolio and Austin Gardner won first in Electronics Technology. Congratulations!

The Elementary Jazz, Junior Jazz and High School Jazz Bands performed, along with the Select Chorus, at the Night of Jazz this week. Music from Frank Sinatra to Radiohead was performed. Well done!
